An awesome hot soup to come home to at the end of the day and see in the slow cooker. The peanut butter adds protein and gives it a creamy texture. Great with hot bread on the side. It's hot enough for me as it but if you want it hotter, add a bit more cayenne.
Hummus makes a great party dip with Pita bread or as a filling in veggie wraps. The beautiful thing about Hummus is how quick and easy it is to make. No slicing or dicing required, just throw everything in a food processor and away you go.

Since I've forsaken land animals for a more plant based diet, the humble Black Bean has taken on a greater significance in my life. And what a bean it is! Low in fat as well sodium and cholesterol-free. Not only that, a single serving of black beans provides 118 percent and 84 percent of my daily dietary fiber and protein requirements respectively. And I could go on but I won't, suffice to say they're good for you in many ways.
